LoseThos website hacked? [Update]

Contributed by: Email on 01/03/2012 05:13 PM [ comments Comments ]

Update: The website has returned to normal in the last couple of hours (10:00 PM EST)

Warning: There is some pretty bad language here. I tried to hide it the best I could but this is overall NSFW)

Was doing my routine of checking for updated downloads when I went to the website of LoseThos, a 64 bit operating system. It appears that the website was hacked or the author went on a really bad acid trip. Here are some examples of what was posted in a very long rambling starting with the CIA:

“The CIA is scum who will find dirt and blackmail you. I told Bush secrets and the CIA never let me hear the end. I'll bet the Saudi King is blackmailed. CIA suckered Saddam into attacking Kuwait. Bush did 9/11, kinda on my orders, but not really. My reality is phoney. I wrote bush from a mental hospital and said "I know how to torture!"

Then we head to some weird bestiality:

“My f***** parents are in cahoots with the CIA. Pedophiles. Got the crazy notion I'm a pedophile. I tried to get a dog to l*** my d***, once in 1985.
There, my darkest secrets.”

DonÂ’t forget running over actors with your own car:

“In 1999, I hit an actor with my car. Yeah! I killed one CIA dude, my enemy! He was taunting me and I had an impulse while driving. I licked my windshield. Canabalism? This is a dark secret, the CIA likes to extort me with, but ba ha,it's when I scored my only payback on them... my proudest moment!”

From here we jump to God, Mormons, firefighters, engineering, Mexicans, downloads, reality, back to the CIA and ending in a long list of words that mean nothing other than what appears to be an attempt to get Google to index it and people to read itÂ… As if anyone could make any sense of it.

I have seen some weird hacks in my 16+ years of web publishing but this one has me confused. No links to profit from, no drive by downloads and even the link to the original program is provided on the page. I almost believe the author of LoseThos wrote this. Weird.

Will update if the page is restored.
